In september 2020, the chinese governemnt issued its first white paper on peacekeeping, which reviewed the glorious 30 year history of the chinese miitary's participation in the UN peacekeeping operations and introduced the concept and actions of the chinese military in safeguarding world peace in the new era. Over th epast three decades, the chinese military has forged ahead in keeping with its original aspiration and mission and made important contributions to safeguarding world peace. In the new era, the chinese military has earnestly implemented the pledges made by president Xi Jinping during the peacekeeping summit, fully demonstrated its responsabilities as a major country, and made new achievements and contributions in the field of international peacekeeping. Looking ahead, the chinese military will take an even more active part in the UN peacekeeping operations and join hands with all parties to build a community with a shared future for mankind.
