Entre el 19 y 28 de marzo tuvieron lugar ante la Corte Internacional de Justicia de La Haya los alegatos orales por la demanda presentada por Bolivia contra Chile ante dicho tribunal. Así culminaron los distintos pasos del proceso iniciado por el país altiplánico en 2013, por el cual Bolivia busca obligar a Chile a negociar una salida soberana al mar. De aquí en adelante la Corte tomará el tiempo que estime pertinente para entregar el fallo repectivo
